Electrical fuel-level indicator
| Application | |
| The instrument is suitable for indicating the fuel level in the tanks of motor vehicles. | |
| Description | |
The
measuring instrument and the transmitter form a set. The measuring
instrument consists of a cross-coil, moving-magnet movement built
into an internal-illumination metal case coated against corrosion.
The measuring restance of the transmitter and the reserve-level switch
are protected by a plastic case. The plastic float changes the operating
current of the instrument proportionally to the tank level, upon effect
of which the pointer of the measuring instrument deflects. On the
dial, the pointer deflection indicates the tank levels at the readings
0-1/2-4/4. A the levels 1/6-1/10 the transmitter indicates the reserve
fuel level by closing the contact. |
