Electrical thermometer
| Application | |
| The instrument is suitable for measuring the temperature of the cooling fluid, lubricating oil and cylinder head of motor vehicle engines. | |
| Description | |
This instrument requires a sender. The measuring instrument consists of a cross-coil, moving-magnet movement built into an internal-illumination metal case coated against corrosion. The resistance of the sender changes the operating current of the instrument proportionally to the temperature, upon effect of which the pointer of the measuring instrument deflects. The readings are calibrated in °C. |
